Testimonials
Dr. Hoberg has been part of our animal health team since 1999. We love her calm way with our cats and dogs. Dr. Hoberg has provided excellent, pragmatic, and compassionate care from puppyhood to old age, and she has helped us navigate the difficult road for end-of-life care several times. She interfaces well with our conventional veterinarian, which really helps us provide our pets with the best health care possible.

It is 2 years since we followed your advice for Meeko, who was near death from kidney disease. We did everything advised ….changed diet to wet cat food, organic, no grain, no potatoes, the cleanest food available. We give several small meals with water mixed in, giving kidney supplement, using slippery elm when needed. Changed cat litter to all organic natural. No more immunization shots, no more flea applications. No more conventional vets. No more stress! Meeko has gained weight, is healthy and a happy cat. We are happy cat owners and thank you for every day added on to his life.

It is so much less stressful to have Dr. Hoberg come to the house than it is to load three cats into carriers. I appreciate her ability to explain options and give me alternative perspectives on healthcare for my pets. It's hard to source information on complimentary veterinary care, and she shares many helpful things she finds on Facebook which I greatly appreciate. Knowing she is continuously learning more about end of life and elder care is also important as my pets enter their later years.

She has not had any problems since her acupuncture in the last 2 years. You and the acupuncture were just what she needed! Thank you so much!!
She has completely recovered and shows no signs of any disc problems or trouble walking, etc. We believe, wholeheartedly, in acupuncture and physical therapy. We were told she needed to have major surgery ($5500-$7500) and that she may or may not recover fully or may have a reoccurrence. We decided to try acupuncture and physical therapy first and are so glad we did! We encourage everyone to please do your research before immediately choosing surgery. Thank you, Dr. Lisa Hoberg, for your amazing care! Our family, and Freckles, are forever grateful!

Good news! Great news! Fantastic news! Moxie is doing better! I didn't expect to see any improvements this fast! I'm seriously a little surprised and a lot ecstatic!
Starting around Monday evening I could see a little more perk in her. And thenTuesday she was the best she has been in months! She is moving around more freely, less hobbling or guarding of her body, and with more energy. She is taking the steps on the deck with no problem or hesitation. She has gotten on and off the couch a half dozen times. Her eyes are bright, her energy level is normal. She is interested in playing.
Could it be that fast? Could it be the food? Whatever it is, I am so overjoyed to have this quality time with Moxie! And I'm just hoping it sticks and she can get all the way off her prednisone in the coming weeks!

Dr Hoberg is one the best vets I've ever had. She is a rare combination of being well educated with compassionate common sense well grounded appropriate care. She has been our vet for many years now. For our older cat it was so much less stressful to have a vet come to the house. She treated her with acupuncture and homeopathic remedies which resolved many problems I thought had no solution because my cat was so old and frail and sensitive there was no way she could have endured surgery or tooth cleaning. I'm sure her care gave my cat longer and better elder years. When she was dying Dr Hoberg helped me to give her a natural and relaxed death at home.
She also sees our dogs for anything they need she can do at home...which is everything outside of surgery. I'm always amazed at how gentle natural medicine is so effective when combined with educated care.
I could not ask anything more and I really trust her.

On Labor Day weekend 2016 our wonderful dog Reggie experienced paralysis in his back legs. Very expensive surgery was suggested, with no guarantee of success and a very long recovery time. Dr. Hoberg had treated Reggie in December of 2015 and we contacted her for an evaluation of Reggie's situation and the possibility of acupuncture. The best thing we did! Initially she came to our home twice a week and, along with steroids, he is now walking and doing stairs, he is happy and gets stronger every day. I totally agree with all previous reviewers, Dr. Hoberg is a wonderful, compassionate person, treating Reggie so gently whilst offering hope and amazing support for very stressed dog owners! We could not be more grateful for everything she is doing and we are so optimistic for Reggie's future. We could not have managed without Dr. Hoberg's care, compassion, deep knowledge and support.
